Universal programmer

To program all sorts of memory devices and microcontrollers I use a Galep III from Conitec. With this device almost all devices in a DIP-package can be programmed.

Sordering iron

Of course a decent soldering iron is a must, when also small devices should be soldered. For this I use an Ersa Analog 60.

Logic analyser

To measure digital signals, I have a logic analyser. This was an Elektor project a few years ago. Unfortunately there is only a very user-unfriendly DOS-program to control the device, but it serves its purpose. With it up to 16 channels can be measured simultaneously at 50MHz, which is sufficient for my purposes.

Oscilloscope

For measuring analog signals, I only can measure those qualitative. Acurate measurements are not possible with my (very cheap :-) russian oscillope.

Drilling machine

For drilling and milling I use a small drilling machine, which is sufficient for the small holes in the PCBs. One doesn't have to perforate walls ...
