Steak stroganov

Ingredients for four:

  • 4 steaks
  • 1 onion
  • 100gr butter
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 4 table spoon bouillon
  • 150ml wodka
  • Worchestersauce
  • Tabasco
  • Port
  • Salt and pepper

Preperation

Roast 50gt butter in the pan until it is light brown, then roast the steaks for two minutes on both sides (or a bit longer, when they are thick or you want them well done). Add Salt and pepper.

Now use another pan, cut the onion and the garlic in small pieces and roast it in 50gr of butter. Add the tomato puree and the bouillon. Now pour the wodka into the pan and light it with a match. When the fire has extinguished, then add some worchestersauce, tabasco, port and a bit of salt. After 2-3 minutes pour the sauce through a sieve and add it to the meat.

As side dish you can make almost everything, french fries, rice or backed potato.
